Intelsat has launched an inflight connectivity product, an electronically steered antenna (ESA), for airline customers that it said will reduce drag, fuel burn and carbon emissions. The innovation’s first installation will be on a CRJ-700 in late 2022, Intelsat said, with production installations to begin in 2023.
Philippine Airlines has ordered Recaro Aircraft Seating’s BL35110 economy class seating for its retrofit of 11 A320s.
