At press time, Hong Kong lawmakers were preparing to vote for a proposed law that will make sexual harassment of flight attendants on Hong Kong registered aircraft or shipping services a civil offence that will attract financial damages. Read More » The initiative follows a Hong Kong Equal Opportunities Commission survey which found more than 25% of female and male flights attendants were sexually harassed in the last 12 months. The local flight attendants union said 47% of its union members had witnessed or had heard about cases of sexual harassment.
