Jetstar applies for seasonal Fiji capacity increase from Australia’s air services authority

Jetstar's Australian subsidiary intends to increase its flying to Fiji on a seasonal basis, an application from parent, Qantas Group, for more capacity shows. Read More » The Qantas application to Australia's International Air Services Commission (IASC) seeks an allocation of 165 more seats on Jetstar flights between Australia and Fiji. “Qantas Airways Limited’s (Qantas) wholly-owned subsidiary, Jetstar Airways Pty Limited (Jetstar), plans to add an additional service between Sydney and Nadi in periods of peak demand throughout the year,” the application said. “The capacity will be utilised to increase Jetstar’s JQ 119/120 Sydney-Nadi-Sydney service to a daily operation in peak periods. Services will be flown with A320s configured with 186 seats.”
