Read More » The first delivery since May 2021 was to American Airlines (AA), which received a 787-8 with registration N880BJ from Boeing's South Carolina facility. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) gave Boeing the green light to recommence deliveries after reviewing the air framer's manufacturing changes. “We appreciate the work done by the Federal Aviation Administration and Boeing during the review process,” AA said.
