Read More » The passenger A321s will be sourced from the open market for conversion to freighters and be delivered to the airline group from 2024 to 2026. “Qantas Freight has been one of the standout performers for the group during the pandemic as Australians rapidly shifted to online shopping,” Qantas Group CEO, Alan Joyce, said. “Some of that shift is temporary, but demand remains well above pre-pandemic levels even with the removal of most COVID-related restrictions. This is one of the largest investments in our domestic freight fleet. It will enable Qantas Freight to capture more of that demand and provide the opportunity for freight to grow its revenue and earnings.” Qantas Freight operates three A321P2F. The airline also is converting two passenger A330s to freighters.
