Airlines must “seize opportunities” from COVID crisis declares IATA director general

Now is the time to build on the hard work and difficult restructurings of the past two years to seize opportunities coming out of the crisis,” IATA director general, Willie Walsh, said. “Finance will play a vital role in supporting the recovery while creating a sustainable capital structure for our ambitious environment agenda.” IATA forecasts traffic will be at pre-COVID-19 levels by 2024 with industry profitability a possibility next year.
