Japan Airlines (JAL) is extending flight times by five minutes on services departing Tokyo Haneda to “expand opportunities to operate at altitudes where fuel consumption can be reduced”, JAL said. Read More » The oneworld alliance member's northern hemisphere winter season update also details expansion of A350-900 and ATR42-600 operations on domestic routes and reduced services to eight in-Japan destinations. Frequency will be added to 12 cities, including Osaka Itami-Kagoshima and to Sapporo-New Chitose, Fukuoka-Okinawa Naha and Ishigaki-Yonaguni. JAL is offering first class on selected flights from Tokyo Haneda to Hiroshima and Kagoshima.
