Read More » The inaugural MH647 departure from Kota Kinabalu, operated by 737-800 9M-MSF, touched down at Singapore Changi Airport just before 0900 local time on Saturday after a two-hour flight from the popular Malaysian destination. The aircraft was on the ground for about an hour before operating reciprocal MH648 to Kota Kinabalu. The three times weekly route will join services from Kuching, Kuala Lumpur and Penang. Malaysia Aviation Group CEO, Captain Izham Ismail, said new routes such as Kota Kinabalu-Singapore are part of the airline’s efforts to reach 70% of pre-COVID-19 capacity by December this year.
