Korean Air to add Budapest to international network; restoring Chiang Mai, Phuket and Dubai services

Read More » Initially the service will operate once a week with 787-9s configured with 24 business and 245 economy seats, and then increase to twice weekly from October 31. KAL has been operating to Budapest with cargo-only flights since February 2020. The launch of passenger flights to Hungary will bolster the competitiveness of its European network, particularly in the east of the continent, KAL said.
The airline also is restarting Seoul Incheon-Dubai from October 1, operating three times a week, and bringing back nonstop Chiang Mai and Phuket from the South Korean capital city, both with four flights a week, on the same date.
“Korean Air will continue to closely monitor the market and return of demand, reinstating our remaining suspended routes accordingly,” it said.
