Emirates Airline has announced retrofitted A380s featuring its new premium economy cabin will be flying on five more routes in the months ahead, including Auckland, Melbourne and Singapore in the Asia-Pacific. Read More » The two other destinations to receive premium economy re-configured A380s will be New York JFK and San Francisco from December. The Dubai-headquartered carrier said the Auckland route will operate with its new premium economy from January 15 next year with Melbourne to follow on February 1 and Singapore from March 1. “With travel demand the strongest it has been in more than two years, Emirates will provide customers with more choice and a better experience as it ramps up A380 services to 42 destinations by the end of March 2023,” the airline said. “In tandem, the airline is optimising its network to meet robust demand and enhancing its existing schedules to more than 400 A380 departures from Dubai that will offer 460,000 A380 seats weekly by March 2023, including 81,000 seats across its premium cabins.”
