Shandong Airlines adds 737BCF to fleet

Shandong Airlines has received its first 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF). Read More » The 737-800, registration B-5111, was converted to a cargo aircraft from its previous life as a passenger airplane at Shandong Taikoo Aircraft Engineering Co. The narrow-body freighter will enter commercial service at the end of September, local media reports. It is the first Mainland carrier to operate a 737-800BCF. The southern China airline, which will receive two more of the type in 2023, will fly the aircraft on cargo routes focused on Japan and South Korea.
