Air New Zealand eases inflight mask rules

Read More » The change follows the New Zealand government’s relaxation of COVID-19 related rules, including the removal of all vaccination mandates for arriving international travellers and aircrew. “Masks have played an important part in keeping customers, crew and communities safe during the COVID pandemic, but it is time to say farewell,” Air NZ chief customer and sales officer, Leanne Geraghty, said. “While some customers and employees will welcome this news, it does not mean masks are disappearing forever. We really encourage customers to continue to do what makes them comfortable, which is the same message we are sharing with our employees.”
