Air China reports 5.1 million domestic passengers for August

Air China flew 5.1 million passengers on its domestic network in August, down 2.1% from the 5.2 million passengers it carried in July. The Star Alliance member's domestic passenger load factor for the 31 days was 67.4% compared with 66.6% and 57.8% in July this year and August 2021, respectively. In pre-COVID August three years ago, Air China flew 8.5 million domestic passengers and had a passenger load factor of 86.1%. The Mainland’s flag carrier added one A320neo to its fleet in the month and retired a 737-800 and an A330-200.
