Boeing remarketing several 737 MAXs originally scheduled for China carriers

Read More » Boeing had delayed a decision on the fate of the MAXs unable to be accepted by Chinese customers due to the local regulator’s rules, but had now deemed there was little prospect of a change to the status quo in the period ahead. “We have deferred decisions on those planes for a long time. We cannot defer that decision forever,” Boeing chief financial officer, Brian West, told a U.S. industry conference. “So we will begin to remarket some of those airplanes.” Boeing CEO, Dave Calhoun, said there was a big market for the 737 MAX. “I do think we will get back there some day. I just don't think it's a date soon,” Calhoun told reporters in Washington D.C.
