Passenger and user charges soon to rise at Singapore Changi Airport

Several fees and levies at Singapore Changi Airport will be higher from November. Read More » The increases were paused at the height of the pandemic. Changi Airport Group (CAG) said the S$35.40 (US$25.13) passenger service and security fee (PSSF) for origin and destination passengers will increase by 14%, to S$40.40, on November 1 and by another 7.4%, to S$43.40, from next April “to cover the higher cost of operations”. Landing, parking and aerobridge (LPA) charges for flights operating at Changi Airport also will rise - by 2% on November 1, an additional 1% on April 1, 2023 and another 1% on April 1, 2024. CAG’s aviation levy, to be increased for the first time since its introduction in 2009, will be 31.1% higher, at S$8.00, from November 1 to 2024. “These fees and levies will go towards Changi Airport Group's operations, current infrastructure upgrading of terminals, future development plans, air hub development and regulatory functions of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS),” CAG said.
