Boeing’s 737-800BCF reaches 100 aircraft milestone

The 737-800BCF program was launched in 2016 with one conversion line at Shanghai, Boeing said. Six years later, there are five sites worldwide working on conversions of the 737-800 passenger variant to freighter aircraft, a statement from the OEM said. “We are honoured to celebrate this milestone with AerCap Cargo, a customer integral to the 737-800BCF program's success since its launch,” Boeing vice president for commercial modifications, engineering and specialty products, Kate Schaefer, said. “Across five continents, the utilisation hours of 737-800BCF freighters are far surpassing those of the previous generation fleet.”
