Singapore Airlines (SIA) no longer requires cabin crew to leave the company after giving birth, The Straits Times newspaper has reported, citing a July 15 company circular. Read More » Instead of having to resign and then reapply for their positions, pregnant cabin crew will be offered temporary roles on the ground and receive 16 weeks of maternity leave before resuming flight duties. “We continue to work hard to retain our talented people and invest in them, so they can deliver the world-class service for which SIA is renowned,” an SIA spokesperson told Channel News Asia.
