Russian OEM, Irkut, has conducted flight tests of the MC-21 single aisle commercial passenger aircraft with Aviadvigatel PD-14 engines, FlightGlobal reports, sourced from comments by Irkut. The MC-21 had been designed to fly with Pratt & Whitney engines, but a local engine was chosen following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
