Emirates Airline to boost Taipei to daily after Taiwan relaxes inbound entry rules

Emirates Airline said its flights between Dubai and Taipei Taoyuan will increase to daily from November 6 “following the conclusion of Taiwan’s reopening plan with the termination of mandatory COVID-19 quarantine restrictions for arrivals”. In other Emirates news, Dubai-Tokyo Narita will be up gauged from the 777-300ER to the A380 from November 15. “Travel recovery in Asia has gained momentum in the past few months as many countries [in the region] have relaxed entry restrictions to revive local tourism and return to business as usual. In line with this positive trajectory, Emirates is increasing capacity to some of its most popular Asian destinations to meet pent-up and growing air travel demand,” the gulf carrier said.
