SIA Group leads tributes to airline’s late founding managing director Lim Chin Beng

Read More » He has been hailed by industry leaders for his leadership in the first 10 years of SIA, his outstanding contributions to the carrier’s development as deputy chairman of its board and later in his career, as an advisor to the Changi Airport Group as it built to its present status as a global airport.
“Mr Lim’s visionary leadership and eye for detail shaped much of what is synonymous with the SIA brand today,” SIA Group said in a statement. “He will also be remembered for his mentorship of several generations of SIA employees, many of whom now hold senior leadership positions in the company.”
A Changi Airport Group statement said: “During the earlier years of our internationalism, Mr Lim provided leadership on the board and gave guidance to the management in navigating international markets.”
