Qatar Airways and JetBlue expand codeshare route network
U.S. carrier, JetBlue, has added 11 destinations to its codeshare partnership with Qatar Airways. Read More » The routes, out of the Qatar Airways Doha hub that will carry JetBlue's B6 airline code are Bangkok, Denpasar Bali, Jakarta and Phuket in the Asia-Pacific and seven routes in Africa and the Middle East. These new codeshares will join 13 existing destinations in the pair's partnership. “Already, Qatar Airways is our top internationally based partner for connecting customers across the Americas to its worldwide network,” JetBlue CEO, Robin Hayes, said. “As we continue to strengthen our relationship we are giving travellers a variety of fresh choices for flying to new corners of the globe.” Qatar Airways group CEO, Akbar Al Baker, added: “For more than a decade, JetBlue has been an outstanding partner. As we continue to deepen our ties we are committed to offering travellers effortless connections and unparalleled service.”
