British Airways, LanzaJet and Nova Pangaea Technologies will jointly develop cost-effective sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for commercial use. Established in 2021, Project Speedbird has applied for a grant from the U.K. Department for Transport’s (DfT) advanced fuels fund, the Speedbird partners said.

Sabre has reported a net loss of US$140.7 million for the three months to September 30, a significant improvement over a US$240 million net loss in the previous corresponding period. Revenue improved 50% to US$663.4 million. “We are encouraged by the relaxation and/or removal of travel protocols in several key Asian hub countries and have started to see travel accelerate there,” Sabre CEO, Sean Menke, said.
