Collins Aerospace said China Southern Airlines has extended an on-site support agreement from the current 10 years to 15 years. It covers support for Collins’ Integrated Drive Generator (IDG) and other generators for multiple aircraft platforms, including the 787, the A320neo and the ARJ21.
CargoAi and Neste have launched a partnership that provides freight forwarders and their clients with the option to purchase sustainable aviation fuel for their air cargo. In Japan, Japan Airlines (JAL) has signed with Itochu and Neste for the supply of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for a scheduled flight this month out of Los Angeles and for a sustainable charter flight in Japan. A Memorandum of Understanding with Itochu also covers discussions for the procurement and supply of SAF in JAL's 2023 fiscal year.
Korean Air (KAL) has begun using flight animation software from CEFA Aviation to support its work of raising the airline’s flight safety management and safety investigation standards.
