Taiwan’s China Airlines (CAL) flew 200,366 passengers in October against 142,922 passengers carried in September. Read More » The October figure was a 2,022% increase over the 9,443 air travellers CAL transported in the same month in 2021. The SkyTeam alliance airline netted passenger revenue of TW$2.7 billion (US$88 million) for the 31 days, a 36.6% improvement from TW$2 billion in September and 1,105% higher than the TW$227 million the carrier booked in October last year. In the pre-pandemic month of October 2019, the flag carrier earned passenger revenue of TW$8 billion and transported 1.3 million air travellers.
