Air China reports 2.6 million domestic passengers for October

Air China flew 2.6 million passengers on its Mainland network in October, down 12.3%, from the 3 million passengers it carried in September. Read More » The result was less than half the 6.4 million domestic passengers the flag carrier transported in the year-ago period, the airline’s monthly traffic report said. October domestic passenger load factor was 66.5%, slightly better than the 65.6% of September and October 2021’s 69.8%. In recent months, China’s government has locked down several major Mainland cities and some provinces as it maintains its zero-COVID strategy. In pre-COVID October three years ago, Air China flew 8.1 million domestic passengers with a load factor of 84.4%.
