Airbus will invest in Canada-based Carbon Engineering, a company researching technologies to remove CO2 emissions directly from the air with high-powered fans, also known as direct air carbon capture (DACC). The terms of the investment were not disclosed.
Rolls-Royce has commenced final testing of its advanced low emissions combustion system (ALECSys) demonstrator engine on the company's 747 flying testbed.
