Asiana Airlines receives certification to transport fresh food and medicine

Asiana Airlines has been certified to carry fresh food and has had its certification for the movement of pharmaceutical goods such as medicines renewed. Read More » The South Korea-headquartered carrier said the Center of Excellence for Independent Validators (CEIV) had given it the tick of approval for it food handling and cold chain processes. The CEIV Fresh certification and CEIV Pharma renewal were formally presented to Asiana CEO, Jeong Seong-kwon, at the Korea Air Cargo Day in Seoul, an event co-sponsored by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Korea International Logistics Association (KIFFA). The Star Alliance member first received CEIV Pharma certification in 2019.
