Malaysia-based start-up carrier, MYAirline, has commenced ticket sales ahead of its launch of commercial operations on December 1. Read More » To be flown by A320s, the airline’s first three routes, unveiled late last week, are twice daily nonstop Kuala Lumpur KLIA2 to Kota Kinabalu and daily flights to Kuching and Langkawi. “It has been a challenging but fulfilling two-year journey for us at MYAirline as we create this significant milestone in Malaysian aviation industry,” MYAirline CEO, Rayner Teo, said. “We are committed to building national pride by providing class-leading operations emphasising good customer service.” MYAirline is charging for check-in baggage, meals and seat selection, among other ancillaries. Additional routes planned are KLIA2 to Alor Setar, Kota Bharu, Miri, Penang, Sibu, Tawau and Terengganu. “We will be increasing our frequency as our domestic network expands and intend to start flying in ASEAN by Q2 at the latest,” Teo said.
