Fiji Airways launches nonstop to Vancouver with A330-300s

Read More » The inaugural service, FJ880, operated by A330-300 DQ-FJT, landed at Vancouver International Airport a little before 1330 local time on November 25 after a 10.5 hour journey from Nadi. The aircraft was on the ground about eight hours before operating the reciprocal FJ881 to Nadi. “With Canada well into winter and travellers eagerly looking for a warm tropical paradise, the timing of our newest route could not be better,” Fiji Airways CEO, Andre Viljoen, said. “There is no other choice than Fiji. You don’t have to take my word for it. You will be convinced the moment you step on board.” Vancouver Airport Authority vice president and chief external affairs officer, Mike McNaney, said: “The new nonstop service to Fiji is an important connection between our two regions, directly benefiting our community and the economy that supports it.”
