Atlas Air has received the first of four new 777-200F freighters it ordered from manufacturer Boeing. The aircraft will be operated by Atlas Air on behalf of MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA under a long-term aircraft, crew, maintenance, insurance (ACMI) agreement.
Several aerospace firms, including Airbus, Collins Aerospace, GKN Aerospace, MTU Aero Engines AG and Pratt & Whitney, have joined hands with Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece, Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden, DLR German Aerospace Centre and the University of Stuttgart in Germany to establish a consortium to develop hybrid-electric and water-enhanced turbofan technology for future aircraft engines. It is supported by the European Union Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking.
Eve Air Mobility has signed a Letter of Intent with Bluenest to supply its urban air traffic management (UATM) software solution for Bluenest's future vertiport automation systems.
