Malaysia Airlines receives first 737 MAX 8

Read More » The aircraft, registration 9M-MVA, touched down at Kuala Lumpur airport on November 16 after a ferry flight as MH5041 from Seattle via Honolulu and Guam. The oneworld alliance member said 9M-MVA, configured with 12 business and 162 economy class seats will enter commercial service on November 20. Kuala Lumpur-Kota Kinabalu to be its inaugural route. The first of the carrier’s MAXs was scheduled to arrive at the flag carrier last August, but delivery was delayed after the identification of an aft pressure bulkhead issue with some MAXs.
