Hawaiian Airlines and Jetstar expand networks to Cook Islands

Cook Islands capital, Rarotonga, will welcome new nonstop flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines and Jetstar Airways from mid-2023. Read More » Hawaiian Airlines will inaugurate nonstop once a week Honolulu-Rarotonga on May 20, flown by an A321neo with 16 premium, 45 extra legroom economy and 128 economy seats. Hawaiian Airlines CEO, Peter Ingram, said the route offers a convenient one-stop option for U.S. mainland travellers to visit the Cook Islands. “This service greatly expands travel opportunities between the Cook Islands and the U.S., thanks to our well-timed connections and robust network, including flights between Hawaii and eight California cities,” Ingram said.

Australia and New Zealand-based Jetstar Airways will launch twice weekly Sydney-Rarotonga, with 232 seat single-class A321neoLRs, from next June 29. The Qantas Group LCC serves Rarotonga from Auckland.
