Australia reports 4.9% growth in domestic passengers for September

Read More » The September figure was more than four times higher than the 1 million domestic passengers airlines in Australia transported in the same month in 2021, figures from Australia's Bureau of Infrastructure and Transport Research Economics (BITRE) show. “The domestic aviation industry continued to recover in September 2022,” BITRE said. The passenger load factor for the 30 days was 85.7%, compared with 54.9% in September 2021 and 81% in August. Compared with pre-pandemic levels, the September domestic passenger numbers were 90% of the 5.2 million domestic passengers flown in the same month in 2019.
