EVA Air reports 42.9% monthly increase in passengers

Taiwan-headquartered EVA Air has announced passengers carried rose 42.9%, to 454,997, in November, from 318,303 passengers transported in October. Read More » The November figure was much improved from the 19,030 passengers EVA flew in the same month in 2021. The Star Alliance member booked passenger revenue of TW$5.7 billion (US$185 million) in November, up 35.4%, from TW$4.2 billion in the previous month and 20 times the TW$480.8 million earned in the year ago period. Compared with its pre-pandemic flying, EVA's passenger numbers for the 30 days were 40.6% of the 1.1 million passengers it flew in November 2019. Passenger revenue was 70.9% of the TW$8.0 billion recorded in November 2019.
