Air China domestic passengers decline 19.3% traffic update reports

Air China flew 2.1 million passengers on its domestic network in November, down 19.3% from the 2.6 million passengers it transported in October. The Star Alliance carrier’s monthly traffic report said November domestic passenger load factor was 64.9% compared with 66.5% in October and 60.5% in a year ago. During the reporting period, China’s government maintained its zero-COVID policy. That policy is being unwound. In pre-COVID-19 November three years ago, Air China flew 7.6 million domestic passengers and had an 81% load factor.
