Airbus has announced it will hire 13,000 staff in 2023 and that around 25% of the roles would be focused on decarbonisation, digital transformation, software engineering and cyber technology. Airbus added a third of the new positions will be earmarked for young graduates.
The Airbus-built Inmarsat-6 geostationary telecommunications satellite, which will add capacity to Inmarsat's satellite communications network, arrived in Florida ahead of its planned launch in February.
Emirates Airline has flown a demonstration flight with a 777-300ER powered by 100% sustainable aviation fuel developed in partnership with Boeing, GE Aerospace, Honeywell, Neste and Virent.
