Cathay Pacific CEO encouraged by 2023 prospects for the airline group

Cathay Pacific CEO, Ronald Lam, said the improvement in the airline company’s performance towards the end of 2022 foresaw a better 2023 after three years of struggle due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Cathay Pacific forecasts a net loss from HK$6.7 billion (US$817 million) to HK$7 billion for the 2022 calendar year compared with losses of HK$5.5 billion 2021.
