Hainan Airlines resumes 737 MAX operations

The Hainan Airlines 737 MAX fleet is back in commercial service almost four years after the type was grounded in March 2019 following two fatal accidents of the type in Indonesia and Ethiopia, local media reports, citing flight tracking websites. Read More » The first flight was the HU7089 from Haikou to Kunming on February 1, operated by 737 MAX 8 B-207H. Hainan Airlines is the second carrier in China to resume 737 MAX flying after China Southern Airlines re-launched MAX flying in January.
