Malaysia to develop Kuala Lumpur Subang as regional aviation hub

Malaysia minister for transport, Anthony Loke Siew Fook, said this week the government planned to reintroduce narrow-body commercial passenger flights at Subang Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport to develop a premium city airport and aerospace hub at the Kuala Lumpur facility. Read More » The redevelopment, already approved by Malaysia’s national cabinet, will increase Subang's capacity to eight million passengers a year. The reintroduction of narrow-body scheduled services at Subang, suspended since 2002, is dependent on the redevelopment of the airport's terminals, Loke said.
