Boeing books 55 January orders; President Biden confirms Air India order for 220 aircraft

Boeing delivered 38 aircraft in the 31 days: three 787s and 35 737 MAX family aircraft. Overnight, US president Joe Biden confirmed, after a call with India’s prime minister Modi, that Air India had committed to purchase 190 737 MAX family airplanes, 20 787-9s and 10 777-9s, with options for 50 more 737 MAXs and 20 787-9s.
