Air China posts 6% domestic passenger growth after Mainland opens border

Air China flew 7 million passengers on its domestic network in February, up 6.1% from 6.6 million passengers flown in January and 61.5% above the 4.3 million domestic passengers it transported in the same month a year earlier. Read More » The Star Alliance member's domestic passenger load factor for the 28 days was 73.7% compared with 70.6% in January and 66.3% in February 2022. Compared with pre-COVID-19 levels, the reported month’s domestic passengers were 92.4% of the 7.6 million customers it carried in February 2019. Domestic capacity hit a new high of 110.6%.
