The LCC, which expects to have 18 737 MAXs in its fleet by March 31, has flown one million passengers since its inaugural commercial service last August 7. “We are forecast to reach an average of 100 flights a day, starting from March 10. It will be the first time a new India airline has breached the daily 100 flights mark in such a short time,” Akasa Air co-founder and chief commercial officer, Praveen Iyer, said on March 1.
