Aéroports de Paris (Groupe ADP) and India-based GMR Airports Infrastructure Ltd (GIL) have signed a framework agreement to merge GIL with the pair's GMR Airports Ltd (GAL). The joint venture company is 49% held by Groupe ADP and 51% by GIL. The transaction, which requires shareholder and regulatory approval, is planned for completion in 2024. Groupe ADP will hold a 45.7% economic interest in the new GIL according to independent valuations.

Air Lease Corporation has finalised its first issuance of Sukuk certificates into the Middle East market by a North American corporate entity. The US$600 million raised will be used for general corporate purposes.

Finnair has purchased 750 tonnes of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from Neste for flights departing its Helsinki home hub. The oneworld alliance member is allocating about 20 cents per ticket sold to the cost of SAF because it is more expensive than conventional jet fuel.

Aviation services provider, GA Telesis, will expand its inventory of Used Serviceable Material after the disassembly of two 767-300s. The parts will be distributed to airlines and MRO customers from its distribution centres in the UK and the U.S.

Recaro Aircraft Seating’s CL6720 business class seat equipped with doors has commenced commercial service with launch customer Spain’s Iberia.
