Hong Kong Airlines granted additional time to complete financial restructuring

Hong Kong Airlines and its outside administrators have agreed to extend the “longstop” date for the carrier’s proposed scheme of arrangement and restructuring plan to April 30. Read More » “A notice on the extension of the longstop date has been circulated to the scheme creditors and plan creditors on March 24,” Hong Kong Airlines said. “The company expects the restructuring effective date will occur in advance of April 30, 2023.” Last year, the High Court of Hong Kong and the High Court of Justice of England and Wales approved a debt restructuring proposed by Hong Kong Airlines.
