Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong International Aviation Academy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on commercial pilot training in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

SIA Engineering Company has committed to a two-year agreement with an option of a third year with Singapore Airlines and its LCC Scoot to provide a “broad spectrum” of MRO services and fleet support services valued at a maximum of S$1.26 billion (US$947 million).

Travelport’s owners, Siris Capital Group and Elliott Management, have invested US$200 million in the travel technology company.

Vistara has become the first Indian airline to operate a wide-body long-haul aircraft using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The landmark journey was the airline’s delivery flight, from Charleston in the U.S. to Delhi, of its fourth 787-9. The Boeing airliner was powered with a blend of 30% SAF and 70% conventional jet fuel in partnership with Boeing and GE Aerospace.
