EVA Airways confirms order for five 787-9s

Taiwan-based EVA Air has finalised its deal for five additional 787-9 aircraft. Read More » “Our 787 fleet has become the foundation of our carbon neutral growth strategy. We will continue to leverage this airplane's unrivalled efficiency and performance for many years to come,” EVA Air president, Clay Sun, said. “This new order supports our ongoing commitment to operate a more sustainable fleet that will reduce carbon emissions while providing our passengers with world class service.” The Star Alliance member has committed to four 787-9s and seven 787-10s following this top-up order.
