TransNusa launches its ARJ21 operations on Jakarta-Denpasar route

Read More » Flight tracking websites show TransNusa flew the COMAC-produced ARJ21, registration PK-TJA, between Jakarta and Denpasar Bali on April 18. The airline has outfitted the aircraft, powered by two GE CF34-10A engines and leased from CALC, with an all-economy cabin of 95 seats. “We believe the ARJ21 can well match the rapidly developing aviation market in Indonesia and Southeast Asia and provide passengers with high quality air travel options,” TransNusa CEO, Bernard Francis, said. COMAC vice president and chief financial officer, Wu Yongliang, added: “We sincerely thank TransNusa and CALC for their trust. This first commercial flight marks the official start of the “new voyage” of ARJ21 aircraft operating in Indonesia.”
