Air New Zealand announces flight schedules impacted by P&W engine shortages

Air New Zealand (Air NZ) said the shortage of available Pratt & Whitney engines for its A320neo and A321neo fleets will change some flight schedules from June to October as the affected aircraft required maintenance earlier than expected. Read More » “The majority of customers will only experience a change in their flight times of up to 90 minutes,” Air NZ said in a note to travel agents. “There will be a small number of customers who will have a larger impact.” Local media reported the Star Alliance member has grounded two aircraft due to the engine shortage. About 150,000 passengers will face a schedule change.
