ANA HOLDINGS lifts profit forecast for latest fiscal year

ANA HOLDINGS INC, parent company of All Nippon Airways, has upgraded its full-year financial forecast after recording a strong fourth quarter, to March 31, for international travel. Net profit for the 12 months is expected to be 89 billion yen (US$661 million), a 48% jump from the February forecast of a 60 billion yen profit. The full-year operating revenue estimate of 1.7 trillion yen will not change, the ANA parent said. “In the fourth quarter, the airline's international passenger sector performed strongly as a result of the recovery in demand for business and inbound travel following the relaxation of Japan's border control measures,” ANA HOLDINGS said.
