Lufthansa to add two India routes; up gauge Munich-Bangkok to A380 service

Lufthansa will expand its India network with the introduction of Munich-Bangalore and Frankfurt-Hyderabad from the start of its northern hemisphere winter scheduling season. Read More » At present, the Star Alliance member flies ex Germany to Delhi and Mumbai. Munich and Bangalore will operate three times a week with A350-900s. Details of the Frankfurt-Hyderabad route will be announced mid-month, the airline said. The German flag carrier also will up gauge Munich-Bangkok from A350-900s to A380s from October 28, which will add 75% more seats on the route compared with the Airbus service.
